Get ready, Manchester Terrier owners and enthusiasts! Your furry friend’s favourite event of the year is almost here – the BMTC Fun Weekend!
Mark your calendars for the 18th, 19th and 20th of July 2025 and join us at Drax Sports Club, Main Road, Selby YO8 8PJ, for a weekend packed with excitement and camaraderie.
This year’s event promises an array of activities, including games, competitions, raffles, auctions, trade stands, and the much-anticipated BMTC Open Show.
Camping options are available, and you can pre-book delicious meals for Friday and Saturday evenings to make your weekend even more enjoyable.

Don’t miss out! Treat your Manchester Terrier to the ultimate weekend and submit your booking form before July 6th . You can do this via the google form or downloading and emailing the word document.
THE GWENDON RAFFLE IS BACK FOR THE FUN WEEKEND!!!
After the success of the last few years, Gwendon Holiday Home Anglesey has again donated a raffle prize of a FREE 3-night weekend stay (Friday to Monday) at their pet-friendly holiday home in Anglesey (subject to Terms & Conditions). The value of this SUPER donation is worth £415!
Gwendon is owned by BMTC members Ged Hartshorn & Neil Murray. This stylish 3-bed (sleeps 6) holiday cottage bungalow is on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.
Located a stone’s throw from the coastal path, with fantastic walks, it boasts lovely sea views and a beautiful large south-facing enclosed garden. The historic town of Amlwch is a mere 5-mins walk, and the port is 20-mins, all with dog-friendly pubs.

Raffle tickets cost £5 each and all proceeds go towards the British Manchester Terrier Club Renal Fund.
To purchase tickets:
- Please send monies via PayPal to secretary@manchester-terrier-club.co.uk ensuring you select the ‘FAMILY & FRIENDS’ payment option
- In messages write ‘Gwendon’ and how many tickets you wish to buy.
- Send a private message to Ann Harrison so she can allocate your raffle numbers.
The raffle will be drawn at the BMTC Fun Weekend on Sunday afternoon 20th July 2025. Please support Manchester Terrier Health by giving generously to this raffle!
T&Cs
Once the raffle is drawn and the winner announced, the winner must contact Ged Hartshorn within 7 days of the draw.
The lucky winner can pick any available long weekend from end of October 2025 – end of March 2026, not including Christmas/New Year or February half term.
The winner is expected to provide a review on (Facebook, Google, etc.). Details of the links to reviews will be provided via email and the digital guide book app, following the stay.
Upgrade
It’s possible for the winner to extend their stay or change the dates by paying the difference for extra nights. Ged will be happy to provide costs on this.
